The Doctor Visit

The last time we took dd to the doctor I was so disappointed. They had a new receptionist and we were told that she couldn't be seen because we were late. We were only five minutes when she said 10 and that was only because we couldn't find parking so it was a technicality. I tried to tell the girl that if we had to reschedule my daughter would be late on her shots because it takes at least a month to get an appointment but she insisted that this is the way things are done. I was fuming.

So a month later we went back, she got her shots, and I told the doctor what happened and that we would be leaving to go some where else. She felt badly but didn't really say anything that would change my mind so that was it for me.

I knew that it would be tough going to that office since she was assigned there and they are a family practice so appointments would be hard to get. The bad part was that even for a family office, they didn't have anything proper for kids. The exam tables weren't even what they were supposed to be for what they are. I hate the system. Hopefully it won't be long before we can afford our own insurance!
