Yeah, it sounds pretty bad and a little wrong but it happens. Even with all the rain and by staying inside my skin has gotten so thin, dry and horrible that I could only assume scratching a little spot might make me bleed. I've had this before but it's never been this bad, I think it has to do with age. I've tried tons of lotions but it seems no matter how long I've had it on as soon as I wash my hands it's back to the way it was as if I never had lotion on at all. It's really irritating and can become painful as my skin cracks and stuff. I'm thinking of trying an eczema treatment since I can only assume that there's way more moisturizer in there than any regular lotion. What do you do for this?

White Collar
Beauty Buyers
It seems that we're all so obsessed with beauty and fashion in general that it's almost artificial isn't it? There's always talk as if we're so scared of looking badly or getting old that women of all ages are going out and grabbing something to fix themselves. I think it's really sad that we all have to feel pressured to find the best anti wrinkle cream or the latest jean style. Not that those aren't fun or make us feel like we're doing something to feel better about ourselves but really, does it help all that much? Mnay of my old friends are going out getting creams and what not, I'll probably follow suit eventually but I laugh because they're all the pretty ones that could have been models and it makes me wonder what they're really like now if that's what they're focusing on.
Throwback
It was retro week on Facebook so everyone (except me) was changing their profile pictures to something from when they were young. It was really funny because one of my friends and I had the same toy at the same age. Yeah ok, we are the same age but you know what I mean. This got me thinking about all the toys that I had and parted with. If you don't know, I have a bit of a hoarding problem and keep hanging onto stuff thinking I'll give it to the kids and get rid of it if they don't want it. The problem is I had a TON of stuff and as much as I've gotten rid of I still have a lot. I ended up kinda sad because I had some pretty cool things. One of my favorites that I now know I should have kept was this little set of stainless steel drums. They were awesome and authentic like the ones in the carribean, someone must have brought them back from a trip when I was little. I have no idea why I got rid of them but I know DD really would have liked those since she's learning she loves the drums. Yeah, it's a mother's dream. LOL!
