SOLD

It's been a rocky road and we eventually had to sell the house. I think the hardest part of it all is seeing the sign outside. I know it is the beginning of the end to the years of stuff we've dealt with but it's still hard. As of right now we still aren't sure where we will be going so that makes things a little more difficult I think.

I'm really looking forward to putting this all behind us and starting over new. All I can do is try to stay positive and believe that it will all end well when the time is right. That's about all I've been doing for years anyway so what's a little longer? LOL

Plans for September

So far it's a secret and not definite but...I might get lucky and go to Las Vegas in September! I REALLY want to go and rather embarrassingly, I've never been there. There will be a convention I really want to go to then so it's just a good excuse to actually go. I'm trying to get a couple of friends to go with me but none of us can actually say that we'll be going yet anyway. We did start joking about how we all would want to diet for the trip though. I'm actually very serious about it anyway because I know I have more than a few pounds to lose. I've considered adapexin-p but I'm not sure yet how I'll be going about this weight loss. I have a little while until I really need to focus anyway so it's a good thing time is on my side but I'm sure September will be here before I know it.

Fav Brands

It's kind of funny how we tend to stick to certain brands sometimes. For me it's Samsung for cellphones. For some reason they tend to work better in my area than a lot of other phones I've tried. For a long time I had to buy a certain brand of cordless phone and VCR as well. I guess once you find something you like you really tend to just stick with it but at the same time you miss all of the other things going on. I'm not sure if I'll ever change my phone brand and follow the Apple wagon but never say never. LOL

V-day

I love Valentine's Day but I have to say, it's mainly for the valentine's day chocolates. I really tend to only eat candy on special holidays so it's always a good thing when one rolls around. Other than that we aren't really big on giving each other gifts. I don't know why but I's never really been big into the smaller holidays but if I don't get my chocolates somebody should duck and cover. LOL

I live more along the lines of not needing to have a special day but rather showing that everyday should be special. Sometimes I think that if everyone lived that way that the world would be a much happier place. Living in the moment is a good thing.

Hit Record

We finally got DVRs the other day! I'm super excited that I don't have to miss my shows anymore...however, there is a drawback. I found that when I set it for a show it will start recording the end of the previous show thus cutting off the end of the show I want. So, to compensate I have to record the show after to catch the end of the show I wanted. Isn't technology wonderful?

It has been fun to have something to watch regardless though. I'm really bad at not remembering anything so once I find a show I want to watch I just set the DVR and get pleasantly surprised later! LOL It's too bad the bill had to go up but I'm pretty happy with what I have other than that little bit of irritation.
