The neat thing about being green now is that we can find all different ways to make things last longer than they should. One thing that we use a lot of are black ink cartridges. It always seems that we're running low on ink and being able to refill them is really awesome. I love that we are able to recycle them but it's so much better to be able to reuse them as well. I think it actually makes things much easier considering we have more than one printer. I love that we don't need to keep a giant stash of full and empty cartridges around, especially since the house is so much smaller and storage is hard to find now.

Ouch
I wish I could break this weird skin cycle I have going on. I keep finding that I break out every so often and I'm sure it's due to hormones. It drives me nuts sometimes because I would want to think that by this time in my life, I wouldn't be so prone to breaking out. It's a good thing that there are adult acne treatment options out there. My skin isn't the way it used to be so the normal formulas end up making my skin dry and I end up peeling a lot. I hope that it ends some time soon because it's a much more painful type of break out than a normal zit.
Baby Boom
I'm finally at the age where most of the people I know are having their children. It's actually kind of weird considering that I and some of my friends had kids already and feel "done". It's a lot of fun though because we can oggle over their babies and give them back LOL. Attending the different parties is always a fun part of the whole process too. It's fun to see all of the different baby shower invitations that are chosen. Back when my mom was pregnant with me, the invitations were no where near as cute as they are now. Currently there are at least three people pregnant and two who have just had new little bundles. I can't wait to see them all!

Neat Features
While looking at houses it's been interesting to see what people have done within them. Some are old and have been kept in a rather funky state with dated decor and others have been taken completely modern. We were able to see this one house that was really neat. There were all sorts of new fangled things in there including a home automation system. How neat is that?! I've never lived in a house with home security in it let alone a system that does things for you. I've always been nervous with my forgetfulness to set and disable something like that anyway, but it would be a nice home feature to have and I wouldn't worry when we left town.
Changes, Again
The last few months have been some of the most distressing I've ever been through. So many things have changed and every day seems to be a new dilemma. It's really hard to focus on anything or get anything accomplished.
So far we've sold the house and found a rental and packing has commenced. We finally found a rental but as yet another new development, it won't work out too well since the owner changed the dynamics. So again, we will be looking for yet another rental and move again within a few months.
DH and I have finally split up with the move and I couldn't be happier. It was a long time coming and I'm incredibly happy to rid myself of the headache and self induced stress. I have a great new boyfriend that I wasn't expecting. Funny how those things work themselves out and just show up. He's everything I've always wanted and more although there is one hitch, he's four states away. It makes things incredibly difficult and sad but on the upside, we can't rush into anything and are forced to keep the communicating open. Something like that really tests yourself but for the better and I couldn't be happier!
Artsy Pants
DD loves painting and doing all sorts of artwork. Her brother wasn't too interested in painting and doing things like that so it's a fresh change. I didn't know how hard it was now to find paints and supplies the way they were packaged when I was young. It seems like most paint comes in teeny little containers yet they still have the paint cups with lids, how are you supposed to fill something that big with teeny amounts? I figure the secret is to buy discount office supplies and school sites. They have a lot of different things that can be used and make the project more interesting.

Retail Therapy
Sometimes I miss working outside of the house. I liked being able to focus on myself and my job and forget about home life for a while. My last job was a retail job and I ended up really liking that one. I wasn't too sure about sales but as it turned out I was really good at it and had a lot of fun. I loved knowing that I could do something for someone each day and put a smile on their face, hopefully making that one day a little better for them. I think about going back every now and then but I do love the flexibility that my job allows me. I will probably go back eventually because I did love it so much though.
Be Your Own Boss
When I was little my dad decided upon a venture of selling gun accessories. It was kind of fun to see all of the different parts that he had, everything from straps to barska scopes. I liked playing with the laser pointers since they weren't too common back then. I guess his business didn't take off too well because it didn't seem to last, although he could have had them shipped in. It was just one of the many ventures he took on after moving to Thailand. He tried all sorts of things from home networking programs to starting his own businesses. I guess that's where I really take after him, I can't wait until I get something of my own going.
